The Green Line coach first appeared in 1930 to provide an express service from various towns in the Home Counties to central London.
It was the brainchild of the London General Omnibus Company in response to the many independent coach operators that were attracting bus users away from the LGOC.
This book covers the services operated by Green Line up to 1969, when London Transport ceased to be responsible for them.
