Pleasure trips by underground

Top poster artists were commissioned to encourage people to travel by Underground to the London stores, open spaces, the River, evening entertainment and sporting and ceremonial events. This book celebrates the work of these artists and shows how the Underground sought to get its message across to Londoners to make their pleasure trips by Underground. The author is curator of posters and publicity materials at the London Transport Museum.
