The story of the London Bus told through four films: 'Omnibus 150' made in 1979 to celebrate 150 years of bus service in the capital; 'Overhaul' from 1957 showing a bus being overhauled at the Aldenham works; 'The Nine Road' from 1976 which shows a day on the route from Liverpool Street to Mortlake and 'Getting to Grips' from 1984, filmed on the famous Chiswick skid patch, which was closed down six months after the film was made.
