Introduced in 1931, London once possessed the largest trolleybus system in the world with over 1,750 vehicles operating on 256 route miles. The extensive network was dismantled in just three years, the last vehicles operating into Fulwell Depot on 9th May 1962. This DVD looks at the early days of the trolleybus, the development of the fleet and the routes replaced in 1959 and 1960.
