Emma Kay's Tube map was the first of the Tube map cover series commissioned by Platform for Art (rebranded as Art on the Underground in 2007). The project was a collaboration with Frieze Art Fair. You are in London is an image that is deceptive in it's apparent simplicity with it's own identity inextricably linked with that of London Underground. It is a multi-coloured target that playfully combines the Tube line colours with art historical references , graphic design and our collective memory.
