This DVD tells the story of the Piccadilly Line from its opening in 1906 up to the present day, including film from London Transport Museum. In this DVD highlights include Gate Stock in operation; the building of the 1930s extensions to Cockfosters, Northfields and South Harrow; a cab ride between West Kensington and Northfields in the 1930s; the last day of the Aldwych branch; United Airlines advertising train and  refurbishment of the 1973 stock.

The second part of the DVD is devoted to a detailed look at the operation of the line today, including trains, track layouts and station architecture.
