Booklet: Chiswick Works
Designer: Edward McKnight Kauffer
Published by: London General Omnibus Company 1932
The company issued several editions of a booklet describing their bus works at Chiswick in west London. It was issued with various covers and this 1932 example, designed by E McKnight Kauffer, includes the last version of the 'General' roundel prior to the creation of London Transport in 1933.
This is one of a series of little known leaflets and booklet covers from London Transport Museum's extensive ephemera collection. Some of the original artworks have been roughly crafted and this reflects in the quality of reproduction on some images.
