Jennie Tuffs has worked as an artist, clothes designer, teacher and lecturer, born 1943 she designed posters for London Transport from 1987-1995. Her vibrant paintings of flowers have been commissioned for book covers, posters, calendars and cards, as well as being exhibited and sold as paintings and limited addition prints. Every composition reads as both a rhythmic, decorative pattern across the picture surface and as an illustration, demonstrating acute observational detail. The combination creates a dynamic balance between abstraction and representation.
