Hampton Court was designed by Adrian Allinson for London Transport in 1934. In the background of this image, Hampton Court stands impressively overlooking the vibrant blue water of the Thames. Visitors to the site can enjoy leisurely walks bankside as well as various boating activities. The poster lets viewers know that Hampton Court is accessible via trolleybus 4, tram 67 or coach D. Artist Adrian Allinson was born in 1890, studying art at the Slade School between 1910-1912. Allinson designed posters for London Transoprt between 1934-1940 before his death in 1959.
