Johnston Poster
Edward Johnston was a famous calligrapher who was commissioned by the Underground Group of companies to design a typeface in 1917 for their exclusive use. In 2017 Transport for London celebrated 100 years of their continuous use of the Johnston typeface, which with subtle amendments has become the 'signature' of London.
