Aldo Cosomati was born in Italy and studied drawing, printing, bookbinding and furniture design in Zurich. Cosomati made his way to London at the end of World War I and began working shortly after. Cosomati worked on designing posters for the Underground Group between 1922-1928, with ‘Trooping the Colour’ published in 1923.
