London Zoo has been the subject of many London Transport posters and this one was published by the Underground Electric Railways Company in 1925. Ruth Sandys designed posters for the Underground Group in 1925. In 1912 Ruth Sandys designed a set of four illustrations 'Dickens for the Young'. She designed a set of posters for the shoe firm of Lilly and Skinner Ltd between 1925 and 1930.
