Designed in 1910 by Alfred France this poster encourages Londoners to move out to a new neighbourhood, Dollis Hill, which is only 24 minutes travelling time from Piccadilly Circus. There is a substantial amount of text on this poster which uses a poem to entice people to look at the poster and read its marketing message.
Alfred France lived in London and exhibited at the Royal Institute of Painters in watercolours in 1908 and 1909. He designed posters for the Underground Group from 1909-1912.
