The wonders of the Natural History Museum are on full display in Edward Bawden’s enticing work from 1925. With exciting exhibitions free to the public, the Natural History Museum is easily accessed from South Kensington Station. Providing family fun for free, the Natural History museum is just one of the many exciting destinations which the London Underground can take passengers to. Edward Bawden was born in Braintree in Essex and went on to study at the Royal College of Art in London from 1922-25. It was here that Bawden worked with his friends, Eric Ravilious and Cyril Mahoney on mural designs for Morley College. As well as being a prolific illustrator and graphic designer, Bawden also produced book illustrations, ceramic decorations, wallpaper and textile designs.
