A lovely spring time poster depicting a crocus bed by Herry Perry, which was produced in 1931, for the Underground Electric Railways Company Ltd. This poster sits well with the Bluebell Time Kew Gardens poster and its focus was to promote the lovely outside spaces such as Hyde Park, Kew Gardens and Saint James's Park. The artist was Heather Perry, (she preferred to be known as Herry), who studied at the London School of Arts and Crafts. After specialising in wood carving Herry became a designer of posters, playing cards and pub signs. She designed posters for the Underground Group and London Transport from 1928 to 1937.
