This beautiful poster was published in 1928 by the Underground Electric Railway Company and was designed by an unknown artist. It features colourful onlookers to the regatta and promotes travel to it via tram from Hammersmith, Shepherd’s Bush or Wimbledon Underground stations.
Molesey Regatta is a rowing regatta that is held on the River Thames and it attracts crews from rowing clubs based at rivers and canals from around the UK. The Regatta was established in 1867 and its main supporting club is the Molesey Boat Club.
