This picture of a Chameleon was chosen to advertise the London Zoo in 1935 – designed by Oleg Zinger for London Transport. The poster promotes the bus routes to visit the zoo.
Oleg Zinger was born in 1910 and was of Russian descent. In 1922 he emigrated to Germany with his family where he worked in advertising. After the war in 1948 he moved to Paris and continued working in advertising. He designed posters for London Transport from 1933-1937. He died in 1997.
