C stock Classic Rail Tour Poster. London Underground purchased a new fleet of Stock trains to completely replace existing trains on the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines. The C Stock trains used on Circle, Hammersmith & City and Edgware Road to Wimbledon section of the District line started entering service in 1970 and we're finally withdrawn in 2014. A commemorative poster was produced to mark the final C Stock train in service.
