Trooping the Colour, by L B Black, 1925

This vibrant poster originated as a panel poster and was first published in 1925 by the London Electric Railway Company. Trooping the Colour involves over 1400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians that come together each June in a great display of military precision, horsemanship and fanfare to mark The Queen's official birthday. This poster by artist L B Black informs the traveller of the nearest Underground stations to enjoy this event.
