In the 1920’s London was painted as a vibrant city filled with glamorous outings for lovers of arts and culture, these activities were heavily promoted on the London Underground network at the time. Taylor, from London, studied at the Camden School of Art, the Royal Academy Schools in London and Royal Academy in Munich. Horace Taylor’s ‘Brightest London and Home by Underground’ shows sophisticated diners as they are entertained by excessively outfitted performers at an over the top inner-city function.
