Reigate, by Edward McKnight Kauffer, 1915
Edward McKnight Kauffer, an American who spent much of his working life in London, was commissioned by London Transport and its predecessors to produce a wide variety of posters for display on London's Underground, tram and bus networks. This particularly colourful example features Reigate, a market town south of London which was popular as a centre for walking in the beautiful North Downs hills.
